|10:30 AM||Optional Tutorial Session: Digital Transformation with SDWAN
Software‐Defined WAN (SD‐WAN) is the extension of SDN that is pioneering the Digital Transformation experience for users. With SD‐WAN, no longer are the advantages of SDN limited to the data center. SD‐WAN abstracts network hardware into a control plane and multiple data planes that can be used with cloud‐based management and automation to simplify the delivery of services to the campus, branch, datacenter and Cloud. This is all achieved with the manageability, performance and reliability assurances that customers expect. SD‐WAN is in the spotlight and is gaining popularity in the IT world.

Robotic optical switching entered the market about 10 years ago. The technology became well recognized across major telco and data centre operators over the last 3 years.
Automating cross connect is a pressing issue as the world is evolving to software defined networking. Physical optical connectivity as of today is still a manual process, along with the downfall of human errors, which are often the root cause of outages.
Wave2Wave's patented mechanical latching technology, on its platform ROME®, offers a game changing tool for operators to design a dynamic optical infrastructure, and to completely automate the network provisioning process.
