LINX are proud to announce that we have been awarded a Global Telecom Business Innovation Award for Fixed Network Infrastructure Innovation. The award for Internet Services Innovation was presented at an awards ceremony on Tuesday 12th June 2012. The award was credited to LINX for scaling Internet exchange for rapid growth around The Olympics.
LINX has been carrying out numerous upgrades on the Juniper LAN in preparation for The Olympics. The upgrades have meant that LINX can provide members with a better service, including more capacity and improved resilience. As a result, members are now confident that LINX will be able to provide them with the service they are expecting during the Olympic period.
The award was collected by LINX CTO Derek Cobb, who said “awards like this help emphasize the great work LINX and Juniper have done together to transform our peering LAN architecture, enabling LINX to meet growing traffic levels in a more flexible and resilient manner”.
