Requirements for Morality Sections in Routing Area Drafts

Posted by malcolm on Friday, April 1st, 2005 at 18:47

Today the RFC Editor published RFC4041, setting out new guidelines for additional required sections in Internet drafts. Specifically, the guidelines require all future Routing-Area Internet drafts to include a “Morality Considerations” section, and gives guidance on what that section should contain. It is hoped that this will help the Internet community to give proper consideration to the moral consequences of new communications protocols before such protocols are implemented and deployed.

With over 770 members connecting from over 76 different countries worldwide, LINX members have access to direct routes from a large number of diverse international peering partners.
