Private Interconnect – Intrasite
LINX installs and provides maintenance of single–mode fibre cables between a LINX PI
rack and the member rack within the same building. Patch leads are not provided.

*Please note this recurring fee will only be applicable to new services ordered from 1st July 2021.
- Any orders placed between 1st January 2021 and 30th June 2021 must order an initial patch prior
to 1st July 2021 or be subject to the £500 annual recurring fee. - There is also a one–off fee of £100 per Intrasite connection order/request. Each patch will be carried out as soon as possible from request.
- There is the option of an additional £400 one off fee (£500 total) to expedite any PI patch requests within a 24 hour deadline. This fee is to cover LINX’s costs of sending an engineer to site for an unscheduled visit.
Private Interconnect – Intersite
To enable private interconnects between Telehouse sites, a cross connect (single-
mode fibre) is required between the LINX PI ODF in each building. All Intersite services
require an existing connection to the Private Interconnect – Intrasite service.
