The London Internet Exchange (LINX) is proud to announce a strategic partnership with global Network as a Service (NaaS) provider, Megaport, to enhance cloud connectivity options for its members.
This collaboration brings a powerful expansion to the LINX Cloud Connect service, enabling seamless access to a broader suite of cloud platforms including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud, and more.
Through this partnership, LINX members in London can now leverage Megaport’s extensive global infrastructure to connect to leading cloud service providers directly from their existing multi-service port. This means one invoice, one port, and one point of contact for engineering support—streamlining operations and reducing complexity for network operators.
LINX has been providing low latency peering solutions for their 850+ global networks for over 30 years. They are seeing an increase in demand for additional solutions and are advocates for partnership and collaboration.
“This partnership with Megaport is a significant step forward in our mission to ensure we are best serving our UK members,” said Tyrone Turner, Product Manager at LINX. “Our community now have even more choice and control when it comes to low latency peering and cloud connectivity, all through a single interface.”
Megaport are a LINX member network and ConneXions Reseller Partner, offering their customers LINX’s interconnection solutions, peering and more. So being able to mirror the cooperation, can only strengthen their partnership in the UK.
“We’re excited to work with LINX to bring Megaport’s global cloud ecosystem to their members,” said Emmanuel Sevray, VP of Sales EMEA at Megaport. “Together, we’re making it easier than ever for networks to access the cloud services they need, when and where they need them.”
LINX Cloud Connect is designed to simplify cloud adoption by offering secure, high-performance, and scalable connectivity. With Megaport’s integration, LINX members gain greater flexibility and reach, empowering them to build hybrid and multi-cloud environments with ease
