The London Internet Exchange (LINX) has launched its 2024 annual report and accounts ahead of the LINX124 member meeting in London.
LINX124 takes place on Monday 2nd and Tuesday 3rd June, and will feature the exchange’s annual general meeting and an election for two places on its non-executive Board.
2024 Overview
The comprehensive report states that the organisation performed well in what continue to be challenging market conditions for the industry as a whole.
LINX’s network reach is extensive within its services sector, and that it remains a very significant player in the IXP industry. In 2024 it continued to attract new worldwide members based in Europe, as well as the Middle East, Asia, Africa, the Americas, and Australasia.
While the interconnection market remains very competitive, the exchange still received 93 new member applications received during the year. At the end of 2024, membership totalled 875, spread across 75 countries.

2024 Report Format
The annual report maintains the expanded format introduced in 2021 to include additional information and updates from all aspects of the business. The growth and reach of LINX’s regional exchanges, along with its product and services portfolio. There’s also more detailed finance section plus an in-depth analysis of key regulatory legislation.
