Vorboss Announced as a Gold LINX ConneXions Partner

Leading fibre provider Vorboss have climbed to Gold partner status at the London Internet Exchange (LINX).

Vorboss have been at LINX since 2012, benefiting from everything the peering community has to offer, including lower network latency and access to unique networks with just one LINX connection.

Following their 2019 acquisition of fellow LINX member Ai Networks, Vorboss also found themselves with an additional reseller port, meaning they could increase their product range to now include remote peering services.

Vorboss have links to 26 points of presence (PoPs) across the UK and Europe with their metro network vastly expanding throughout. The telecoms champion has also been a key player in connecting LINX to various data centres across Europe to support the delivery of its customers’ requirements.

‘Becoming a Gold ConneXions Partner at LINX was fantastic news for us,’ comments Timothy Creswick, Vorboss CEO.

‘Seeing an increase in traffic through our 100GB port played a huge part in this momentous status upgrade. We’re pleased that our recent advancement allows customers from our European locations, such as Warsaw, Stockholm and Barcelona, to access LINX in London and peer their traffic locally, benefiting from a lower latency and improved end user experience.’

The LINX ConneXions programme allows member networks to add an additional port to resell LINX capacity as part of their product and service range. Networks climb tiers, from an official partner to Diamond status, depending on the size of the port, traffic and locations resold. LINX boasts many global partners and this remains a key part of the company growth strategy.
