LINX Remains a Trusted Supplier for Financial Services

The London Internet Exchange (LINX) are pleased to have had their FSQS certification renewed for another year, as they continue to provide services to the financial services sector as a trusted supplier.

FSQS (Financial Services Qualification System) is a community of financial institutions including banks, building societies, insurance companies and investment services, collaborating to agree a single standard for managing the increasing complexity of third and fourth-party information needed to demonstrate compliance to regulators, policies and governance controls.

The FSQS Registered Mark is valued by some of the largest purchasers in the financial sector and this indicates that LINX has gone through the process required to demonstrate its commitment and credentials to the industry. LINX initially became certified for the standard last year and are pleased to have maintained this level of service.

Jennifer Holmes, CCO for LINX says;

“This certification is important for us to maintain as we continue to welcome a growing number of new networks to our community, from the financial services sector. We are trusted as a key supplier for many global networks and we are seeing more and more networks from enterprise and financial markets approaching us for services from colocation to cloud access. Being able to reassure them even further with an official and recognised certification is a key part of our initial conversations.”

LINX has many networks from the financial sector currently using their interconnection services. With an ongoing increase in demand for online services both customer facing and internal, networks are taking control of their own traffic and managing the routing of this traffic to increase performance and security.
