The AGM will include the presentation of the 2022 annual report, 2022 accounts and financial results and auditors report. There will also be a vote on three Ordinary Resolutions plus the 2023 LINX Board election.

As a membership organisation, LINX operates and develops its strategy based on the feedback of its members. In this video LINX CEO, Kurtis Lindqvist, explains the importance of LINX members voting in constitutional meetings.

Confirmed candidates standing in 2023 LINX Board election are as follows:

  • Steve Glendinning (BRSK Limited)
  • James King (Data Vita)
  • Phill Magill (TalkTalk)
  • Simon Lockhart (Bogons Ltd)

Voting will remain open until 15:00 BST on Wednesday 17th May 2023, the day of the AGM itself.

Corporate representatives of LINX members will receive an official voting pack by email from Civica Election Services. This contains instructions on how to place your company’s vote in the election. You will need the voting codes from the pack to vote in the election. Please contact our Member Relations team if you have not received your voting pack (mr@linx.net).

LINX Member Portal Self-Service Upgrades

The LINX Member Portal, and its self-service functionality, allows members greater control over the provisioning of services on their ports. The on-demand features simplify processes and frees up time for both the member, and LINX teams.

In the My Services section members can now select their individual network services and make specific edits such as changes to bandwidth, MAC address updates, change VLAN IDs, migrate between ports or move to new ports and, if no longer required, request the cancellation of particular products. See our recent technical blogs for a deeper dive into the options available.

Our Microsoft Azure Peering Service (MAPS) provides LINX members with a direct connection to any public Microsoft cloud service, including Microsoft Azure services, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or any other Microsoft service accessible via the public internet.

By routing directly through LINX’s infrastructure, you get a low latency connection, reliable uptime, and advanced security that simply isn’t possible when using public internet connections.
