SERVICES

Peering

Exchange traffic directly with hundreds of networks through a single port, with lower latency and greater control over where your traffic goes.

HOW IT WORKS

Peering at LINX

Peering has been the primary way networks exchange internet traffic for decades. Connecting to an internet exchange lets you peer with hundreds of networks across a single physical port, and set up or remove bilateral sessions without reprovisioning circuits or ordering additional cross connects. Peering is available at every LINX location.

PEERING OPTIONS

Bilateral and multilateral

Bilateral peering

Set up direct sessions with individual networks on your own terms. You negotiate the agreement, you control the relationship, and you can add or remove sessions without ordering new circuits.

Multilateral peering

Our route servers connect you to tens of thousands of route prefixes through a single BGP session and one agreement. The fastest way to start exchanging traffic once your port is live.
