LINX’s New Syncing Solution with PeeringDB

Written by LINX Product Owner Viktorija Martinkienė.

We are excited to announce the implementation of a new internal syncing solution with PeeringDB. This is designed to reduce the load on the PeeringDB API and to improve the data structure for the LINX Software team

Key benefits of the new solution include:

Improved System Performance: The new solution is designed to reduce the number of queries and enhance overall system efficiency.

AS-SET Synchronisation: It retrieves and stores the AS-SETs from PeeringDB.

Discrepancy Reporting: It introduces a new report page for LINX engineers to highlight discrepancies between our Operations Support System (OSS) manual entries and PeeringDB records, facilitating timely updates and corrections.

These enhancements reflect our ongoing commitment to improving our services and optimising our data management.

Look out for further updates on this project.
