LINX Member Portal Peering Policy Updates

Written by LINX Product Owner Viktorija Martinkienė.

Following on from the recent blog from the LINX Software team on the implementation of  internal syncing with PeeringDB to improve data structure for LINX members, the team are pleased to share a further development.

A syncing solution with PeeringDB allowing LINX portal users to view more accurate and up-to-date information is now viewable directly on the ‘Members’ tab.

Head to https://portal.linx.net/ and click on ‘Members’ and you’ll be able to filter by LINX LAN, search and sort to find your network or others you are looking to peer with.

LINX members can access important details, including organisation names and other relevant information in the portal, and they can now view the peering policy for any listed member, which is classified as:

  • Open
  • Selective
  • No Peering

We encourage all our members to explore this updated page and familiarise yourself with your own or other members’ peering policies.
