We’re pleased to share the latest improvements now live on the LINX Portal:
Stats Improvements
Following member feedback, we’ve added new data to portal stats and made the stats views easier to use:
- Discards are now available as a metric in the stats drop down
- A new optics tab shows received and transmitted light levels for your ports, including per lane values
- The peers view now supports more peers, keeps your selected time period, and exports full member names
- A new Y-axis toggle lets you switch between a zero based and a closer fit scale
- A single click on the exchange legend now isolates that exchange, with exchanges grouped by region

Coming Soon, Portal Notifications!
You’ll soon receive notifications directly in portal, so you can see what’s happening with your orders and services without checking email or contacting LINX. This includes:
- Order updates when an order needs your action, has been provisioned, or has been rejected or delayed
- Reminders ahead of scheduled maintenances, plus updates as maintenances are created, start and complete
- Outage notifications, shown separately from maintenances
- Impact levels on maintenances and outages, so you can see at a glance how you’re affected
All notifications will be switched on by default. You’ll be able to choose what you receive at three levels: all notifications, by category, or by individual type. Maintenance and outage notifications can also be filtered by impact level. Notifications clear automatically once they’re no longer relevant.
